ERP FAQs: What Does the Term "Core Financials" Mean?

When looking at ERP software systems, you may notice the term "core financials" used in the discussion.  Today, we want to give you a little more insight into what core financials refers to.

Core Financials describes the base financial accounting software modules, such as those found in Sage 500 ERP, and include:

  • Accounts Payable,

  • Active Planner Budgeting
  • Fixed Assets
